EBBF Ticket Lottery terms of entry

Entry and tickets

  • Entry to the Ticket Lottery will be open from midday on Monday 23 August 2021 until 11.59pm on Saturday 11 September 2021.

  • There are 400 tickets available within the EBBF ticket lottery. Each person can enter the chance to gain priority booking for either a pair of tickets or a single ticket.

  • Successful entrants will receive entry to the full European Brass Band Championships and Challenge Section, Youth Brass Band Contest, Gala Concert featuring Louis Dowdeswell and the Cory Band, and competitors’ party.

  • Successful ticket lottery tickets do not include entry to the concerts on 28 & 29 April at Town Hall Birmingham or any other events associated with the Festival at Symphony Hall Birmingham or any other venue.

  • Please only enter once per person, either for a pair of tickets or for a single ticket.

  • Only one entry will be counted per email address.

  • Please do not enter for both a single ticket and a pair of tickets as the same person or from the same email address. If done so these entries will not be counted.

  • Seats allocated will be at random within the stalls. If you have entered for a pair of tickets, these two tickets will be seated together.

  • Successful entrants will be notified on Monday 13 September 2021 via email

  • For successful entrants, full payment will be taken between 13 and 30 September 2021. Payment will be taken via the original payment method provided.

  • Tickets for successful ticket lottery entrants will be available for collection from the BBE/Festival Help desk at Symphony Hall on the day of the event

  • All proceeds from the ticket lottery £1 entry will be used to support the BBE Brass Foundations programme to help create the next generation of brass band players.

  • In the event of cancellation of the EBBF due to Covid-19 restrictions, all tickets will be fully refunded. The cost of entry to the ballot will not be refundable.

  • The ticket price will be the same in the lottery as the general sales. This includes the £3 booking fee. However, ticket lottery seats are the best seats in the house and will not be available via the Symphony Hall box office.

  • Entries are accepted from residents of all nations and not restricted to those within the UK
