We hold three events a year. Our Winter Contest held in February each year is an own choice test piece contest, usually used by bands to try out the regional test piece. Our Brass Festival is held in May/June each year for solos, duets, quartets and small ensembles. Finally we have our Entertainment Contest held in November where bands play a 20 min programme. All of our contests are well attended and we aim to bring a selection of adjudicators from across the UK.
