On Saturday 4 May at the European Brass Band Championships in Palanga, the draw was made for this year's Brass in Concert Championships, which will be held at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead on Saturday 16 November and Sunday 17 November.
The draw was made prior to the EBBC Gala Concert by Brass in Concert advisor, Kenny Crookston, with the assistance of Iwan Fox, and was streamed live via the wobplay platform.

Bands will perform from 11am on Saturday 16 November and the day’s performances and results ceremony will be complete by 8.30pm. Draw for Youth Brass in Concert 2024
Following the recent announcement of the return of the popular Youth Brass in Concert for 2024, the draw for the eight competing youth bands was also made. Bands will compete as follows:

4 Youth Brass 2000
5 Macclesfield Youth Brass Band
6 Houghton Area Youth Brass Band
7 Elland Youth Band

Youth performances will begin at 11am on Sunday 17 November at the Glasshouse, finishing at approximately 6pm, followed by the results ceremony to follow.
Well done to Jason Ferris who won the draw competition to guess the first and last Championship band correctly and will receive two free tickets to the contest.
