This week the first episode of Brass Bands England’s new podcast series ‘The Brass Band Podcast’ has launched. This first series focuses on the amazing items and stories of The Brass Bands Archive. The podcast is hosted by BBE’s CEO Kenny Crookston and COO Sarah Baumann who are joined each week by special guests and wonderful brass band music.

BBE’s Chief Operating Officer Sarah Baumann commented: “This new series is a fantastic way for us to share the stories of The Brass Bands Archive, and banding in general, to a much wider audience. Whether you’re a seasoned brass band lover, or just getting started it’ll be a great listen for you.”

The Brass Band Podcast is supported by funding from Arts Council England, National Lottery Heritage Fund and The Scottish Power Foundation. Thanks also to World of Brass for the beautiful music they have provided. To listen to all of the music from this episode, and so much more, head to wobplay.com.
