Basingstoke Silver Band is a fun, friendly and social band, rehearsing on Friday evenings at Elizabeth Hall in Hook between 7pm and 8:30pm whilst playing regularly at community events in and around Basingstoke. Having begun life in 1898, we are now a registered charity run by, and for, fun-loving brass players of all abilities. We aim to make the band a positive experience for all, welcoming players of all abilities, so whether you are starting your musical career, picking up your instrument after a break, or an experienced player looking for a new challenge, we have a suitable seat for everyone!
