Thursday 18 June - Saturday 11 July: Brassed Off!
Thirty years after the much-loved British film first struck a chord with audiences, Leeds Playhouse brings Brassed Off back to the stage.
Saturday 4 July: Pershore Midsummer Brass Band Festival
12 hours of live music from more than 25 brass bands at 4 superb central venues with 1 ticket: Pershore Midsummer Brass is a non-competitive celebration of brass band music in the pretty market town of Pershore held on the first Saturday in July since 1990. Sunday 5 July: Red Admiral Music Academy Hymn & March Contest
The popular Hymn & March Contest returns to the Village Green of Croston, Lancashire! With a prize pot totalling £3,000 and a new-for-2026 Road March, it’s going to be a great day of grassroots banding for people of all ages to enjoy.
Saturday 11 July: Durham Miners' Gala
The Durham Miners' Gala is the world's greatest celebration of community, international solidarity, and working class life. A number of our member bands will be parading with banner groups through Durham City Centre.
Sunday 12 July: Brassed On! Festival
Part of the Barnsley Big Weekend, The Brassed On! Festival see many brass bands perform 'about tarn' throughout the day. And what's more, our own Brass Bands Archive will be at Library@The Lightbox for a special pop-up exhibition
