CSD Brass

CSD Brass is a musically strong but friendly, non-contesting brass band based in the City of Cambridge. Our members come from all over Cambridge and the local villages, and we play for all kinds of events over a wide catchment area in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. The music we play covers a variety of styles including traditional brass music such as military marches and sacred music, concert and chamber music, selections from musicals, and popular standards.

We’re always looking for new players in all sections to join us and have fun making music together. The friendly, relaxed atmosphere means that players of all abilities enjoy playing with the band, so please come along to a rehearsal: if you’re an experienced player, if you’re looking to move to a different instrument, if you’re coming back to banding after a break, or even if you’re not very confident yet.
