RNLI Blessing the Boats Ceremony

Every year, at the inviation of the RNLI, the band takes part in the Blessing the Boats Ceremony which takes place at the Lifeboat Station.  This year the date for this important annual event is Sunday, 25th May with the service commencing at 3.00 pm.  The band accompanies the hymns and also plays as the wreaths leave the harbour onboard the lifeboat.  Many local organisations attend this ceremony and the band is delighted to take part.
