Ever wondered what the Brass Bands Archive is all about, what’s in it, or how to access it? Well, log on and join us for a special introductory webinar all about this unique collection of brass band memorabilia. The session will offer the chance to explore the collection, find out how you can contribute, and see why archives are such an important part of preserving our heritage

Meet your host

 

Danielle Spargo Archive Project Officer, Brass Bands England

Danielle has several years of archival experience, joining the Brass Bands Archive in January 2024 and previously working for North Yorkshire County Record Office and Explore York Archive and Library. She has completed a masters degree in Contemporary History at Sussex University, and in 2023 became a qualified archivist after completing an Archives and Records Management PGDIP. New to the brass banding world, she is excited to delve into all that is brass banding and meet all the brilliant people that make BBE and brass banding fantastic!
