Programme
The National Universities Brass Band will present a programme featuring popular arrangements from Gershwin to The Beatles, alongside original works for brass band by Malcolm Arnold (celebrating the composer’s centenary) and others.
Olympus, by Philip Harper, celebrates the Tokyo Olympics and the endeavour and spirit of all those involved.
The concert includes a world premiere of Revolution, a brand new work for brass band by John Frith.
The band will be conducted by David Thornton, musical director of the famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band.

Entry to the event is free. Doors will open at 2.30pm for a 3pm start. A limited number of tickets will be available on the day on the door of the venue, however, you can reserve your place via the link below to secure the best seats!
