BBE has introduced a new Student Membership which is free to those in full-time higher education and comes with the same benefits as Individual BBE membership. This includes free or discounted, or exclusive access to events and training, as well as related resources. A full breakdown of member benefits can be found on BBE’s membership benefits page.
A place at The Brass Band Conference 2023
As part of BBE’s commitment to wider national advocacy and inclusion, a free Young Person ticket, which is available to all 23 or under, can also be booked for the Brass Band Conference, The Conference will take place on Saturday 7 October at the University of Huddersfield, with this year’s theme being “Heritage and Innovation”.
Kenny Crookston, CEO of Brass Band England, commented: “It is especially important to us that we’re able to give young players the opportunity to share their views. I hope that our free Under 23 Conference tickets will enable people to join us at the event to network, participate in workshops, and be part of the conversation. Anyone in full-time higher education can also join BBE as a member, to access our full range of support at this important stage of their banding journey.”
More information about the Conference can be found on the BBE website.
