Taking place on Saturday 15 February at The University of Cardiff, performance and audience members seeking advice or guidance on all things brass banding can visit our team at our stand in the trading area of the contest’s Student Union site, where those in full-time education will be able to activate their free BBE Student Membership.
Inform support offer for graduate musicians
Student performers will also have the opportunity to complete a short questionnaire about their current banding participation and future plans. The survey is designed to help gather data on the transition from student to adult banding and help to inform BBE's future support in this area.
Develop youth banding skills: 1:1 advice clinics
Drop-in 1:1 clinics will run from 10am-12pm and 2-3.30pm for anyone interested in relevant BBE initiatives including:

Participating in the 2025/26 Future Leaders programme (training focused on developing the talent of youth band leaders)

Contributing to ‘The Next Generation’ Brass Band Conference

Joining BBE’s Youth Voice Working Group
