The Brass Band Conductors’ Association is delighted to share an update on its presence at the Brass Band Conference 2024. 

Taking place on the 19th of October at the City of London School, the Brass Band Conference is an annual event which includes an awards ceremony hosted by Brass Bands England. The theme this year is Creative Communities.  Sign up today.

Brass Band Conductor Award

The BBCA will present the award it supports, The Brass Band Conductor Award. The nominees are:

  • Lewis Kemp
  • Louis Charles Thomas

Trade Stand Presence

Members of the BBCA Executive will host a trade stand during the day; and will be on hand to offer advice, answer questions, and discuss how the BBCA can support individuals and bands in their growth. 

Fringe Events

The BBCA is pleased to offer a wonderful online fringe event courtesy of our Creative Projects Lead, Jack Capstaff. Music Matters- The Role of Artistic and Music Directors in Engaging The Community, takes place on Tuesday 15th October at 7pm via Zoom.
