Following feedback from its members, Brass Bands England (BBE) has created a series of resources on Financial Resilience for its members.
The aim of the set of how-to guides is to help bands establish best-practices systems and procedures to ensure the smooth financial running of their organisation.
The set of resources consists of:
- The Role of Treasurer
- Bookkeeping using computerised accounting systems
- Financial procedures: a guide for Treasurers and finance staff
You'll find them under the Band Governance in your BBE Member Resources library.
The guides sit within a wider suite of resources on Band Governance and compliment BBE's members-only in-depth training programme on band governance and strategy, with upcoming events on the topics of:
