Listen to Music Director of Derwent Brass and BBCA's Creative Projects Executive Member Jack Capstaff to explore the role of music directors in community engagement.
In this session Jack discusses how music directors and conductors can define mission statements and develop strategies to increase the level of community engagement in music making, with particular reference to increasing participation from those who have historically had less exposure to brass bands and western classical music.

The Association partnered with Brass Bands England in October 2019, which saw the two bodies coming together to develop educational opportunities for conductors and BBCA members receiving free BBE Individual Membership.
