The European Brass Band Championships celebrates the elite, and rightly so, but this year, thanks to support from an Arts Council England National Lottery Project Grant, Brass Bands England has been able to extend the festivities, venturing out of the concert hall and onto an Outdoor Stage on Centenary Square. The addition of the outdoor stage allows us to promote the beating heart of banding - the grass roots. #ThisIsBanding - so make sure you’re there!
