Neil Brownless is a conductor of Brass and Wind bands. He has been Musical Director of Abingdon Concert Band since 2013 and Wantage Concert Brass since 2021.
In July 2020 Neil became the second person to graduate (with Distinction) from the Masters Degree in Brass Band Conducting under the tutelage of Dr Robert Childs at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Neil has had great success in brass and wind band competitions, was a semi finalist in the 2022 BBCA conducting competition and was awarded the Making Music 'Best Music Creator for a Leisure Time Group' award in 2021 for his composition 'Keep the Rhythm Going'.
