This October Brass Bands England (BBE) is delighted to present a hybrid conference on Saturday 22 October in Sale and online. Packed with exciting workshops, talks and presentations on the theme of ‘Banding for Life’.
In addition to a Keynote speech from Ian Bousfield and a wide range of talks and workshops, there will also be opportunities to meet partners and sponsors on the day of the event. All partners have been chosen for the helpful and relevant services that they can offer both bands and individuals within the banding community.
Free 1:1 sessions
The Brass Band Conductors’ Association, the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators and members of the BBE Brass Foundations team will be running drop-in sessions so that delegates can receive tailored advice and discuss ideas on the day and after the conference. These sessions will be available throughout the day and delegates will be able to drop in at any time.

We are grateful to rooms4groups for sponsoring this year’s event, as well as ABRSM and Geneva Instruments for sponsoring workshop breakout rooms. Representatives from each of these organisations will be available to speak to in the conference exhibition and refreshment area.
Performance
Over the lunch break attendees will be entertained by an ensemble of players from the Wardle Academy, their attendance kindly supported by World of Brass.

A Digital Pass ticket provides access to the live-stream of the Main Hall provided by BrassPass and session recordings after the conference day.
