There are some amazing people in the brass band community who make exceptional contributions, and BBE is proud to celebrate them.
Do you know someone who has shown countless dedication, or has your band delivered an exciting project over the last year? The nomination window has thus far seen numerous amazing entries, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. With just over one week remaining until closing, there’s still time to ensure good deeds are recognised.
This year Brass Bands England has consolidated some of the awards to make it easier to accommodate nominations, in addition to a new award for conductors. The categories are as follows:
- Band Project of the Year
- Outstanding Contribution Award
- Young Bandperson Award
- Services to Youth Award
- Brass Band Conductor Award supported by the Brass Band Conductors’ Association
- Lifetime Achievement Award
More information on the individual award categories can be found on the Awards page.
How can I make a nomination?
Nominations can be made online via the nomination form by midnight on Saturday 13 May. Those attending the Spring Festival in Blackpool can fill out a nomination card at the BBE Trade Stand.
As a thank you for submission, all nominators will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a £50 Band Supplies voucher.
