BBE bring in the experts for social media webinar
Brass Bands England (BBE) have announced a one-off training webinar on the subject of social media for brass bands to take place on Wednesday 19 July at 7pm. The webinar offers an exciting opportunity to gain insight from guest expert Adam Koszary, Head of Digital at The Audience Agency.
Adam has run social media for cultural institutions such as Royal Academy of Arts, The Museum of English Rural Life and Bodleian Libraries. His career even includes a brief stint as the Social Media Manager for Tesla, a position landed after his Tweet about a sheep went viral in 2018. In his current role at The Audience Agency, he helps clients across the arts to understand online audiences, create great content and digitally transform their organisations.
Adam said: “I do some good social media and digital stuff and try to help people do the same. Social media can be bewildering. Every day it seems like there’s a new app being released, strange TikTok trends to jump on and billionaires posting questionable tweets. So, how can brass bands use it and manage to have fun at the same time? That’s what we’ll be looking at in this session.”
The webinar will take a no-nonsense look at what social media’s all about, covering ways to use the variety of platforms, how to be realistic with precious time and what a good social media post looks like. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, there will be a short break halfway through - participants are not required to prepare anything.
The event is free for members of Brass Bands England and £10 for non-members.
