Brass Bands England’s (BBE) funding support work continues with a new webinar on the topic of sustainable fundraising. The event, delivered online by BBE Fundraising Manager Beth Currie, will take place on Tuesday 18 July at 7pm.
Beth will explore how brass bands can become more environmentally conscious in fundraising projects, why this is important, and how an eco-approach can ultimately lead to greater financial stability for banding organisations.
Beth told us: “Donors, funders and cultural audiences are concerned about the climate crises, and expect you to be too. So, how can bands promote their eco-credentials whilst also raising funds? That’s why we’ll be focusing on in this webinar.”
For those looking at potential funding from Arts Council England (ACE), the event will also look at ACE’s 'Environmental Responsibility' Investment Principle and how you can address it in your funding applications.
This live webinar is free for BBE Members and £10 for Non-Members.
