Youth Champs: 29 March 2025
The National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain 2025 will take place at Hymers College in Hull. Offering youth bands a chance to perform on a national platform in either a competitive or non-competitive capacity, the event is designed to celebrate, unite and promote youth music-making in brass bands at all levels. #PromsInThePlayground: 30 June - 18 July 2025
#PromsInThePlayground is the initiative that supports bands to connect with schools in their area by offering a performance in their local playground. As well as getting young people excited about brass banding, this initiative is designed to help bands forge and strengthen relationships with organisations around them.
Youth Fest: 4 July 2025
The National Youth Brass Band Festival is a non-competitive event that aims to celebrate success and participation in music, inspire and engage young people in an inclusive environment, and encourage personal and musical progression. Performance slots for 2025’s event at artsdepot in London are now full, but attending the event is a great way to support the next generation of banding talent. Audience tickets will be available for purchase in June.
Brass Band Week: 5 -13 July 2025
The annual event to raise awareness of the nation’s brass bands is back for the second year. Any events featuring brass can take part by submitting their details from spring 2025.

The Brass Band Conference 2025: The next generation: 27 September 2025
The Brass Band Conference is an annual event and awards ceremony providing an unmissable opportunity for brass banders from across the country to learn, share and network. The 2025 conference takes place on Saturday 27 September at Redhills, the Durham Miners’ Association Hall, Durham city centre, on a theme of ‘The Next Generation.’
Every BBE member band will get a free ticket, with travel bursaries also available, so be sure to save the date in your diary now.
Brass in Concert: 15 November 2025
BBE continues to work as a delivery partner for the annual Brass in Concert Championships, which have grown to become the leading event of its kind. The contest prides itself on featuring world-class bands at elite-level, offering unique and engaging sets. With the 2024 event being a sell-out, tickets for 2025 are expected to be in high demand.
