Bruce Wallace is a seasoned conductor, educator, and versatile brass player, based in the North East of Scotland.
Over the past 25 years, Bruce has worked as a brass instructor in Aberdeenshire, conducting various ensembles, from big bands to symphony orchestras. Notably, he had a highly successful decade with the council’s Senior Wind Band, during which time they won numerous awards.
Bruce has been conducting brass bands since the early 90’s, and in that time has competed in numerous contests as well as countless public performances.
He has had successful stints with various bands of all standards, the most recent being over ten years with Granite City Brass Band, overseeing one of the most successful periods in their recent history.
