Join us to hear the premier performance of Martin Ellerby's newest composition: Wirral Dances, commissioned in memory of Beryl Williams.
Listen as he takes you on a musical journey of our wonderful peninsula, from the morning sunlight glistening on the New Brighton promenade, to the battle of Brunanburgh (modern day Bromborough).
Join us as we celebrate the colossal impact of Martin Ellerby on the wind band world by also performing his most famous work for winds: Paris Sketches. We are also delighted to welcome the sublime soloist, Barbara Ruzsics, who joins us for a rare performance of Bernard Gilmore's Five Folk Songs for Soprano and Band.
